The project «MEDOCC TECNOPOLIS» (or MEDOCC-TECH) aimed to launch a network of technology interface structures belonging to the «Technopolis» generation in 4 MEDOCC regions – Algarve, Andalusia, Umbria, and Sicily.

In its initial phase (MEDOCC-TECH), the main goal of the project was to create and administer a first group of “technopolis antennas” (ATs) in network. After its establishment, each ATs implemented a pilot project of social entertainment in its designated region, destined to encourage contact between the actors of innovation and to foster competition with the other participating regions.

In the subsequent phase (MED TECHNOPOLIS or MED-TECH), the objective would be to expand the network to the whole Mediterranean region, creating new ATs and developing connections and partnership between the forces of innovation of these regions.

This partnership promotes networking of trainers and VET teachers across the EU, sharing of resources and expertise in close collaboration with digital technology providers and experts in educational technologies, as well as content regarding entrepreneurial skills and competences in project management, in order to develop tailor made solutions adapted to local challenges and realities.
